What is the ideal image resolution for a seamless carousel? ▼

For the standard vertical 4:5 format, each slide is exactly 1080 × 1350 px. For a 3-slide carousel, the ideal banner size is 3240 × 1350 px.

How does Anti-Banding Dithering protect my photos? ▼

Instagram aggressively compresses smooth gradients on studio cyc backdrops and sunsets into ugly stepped bands. Anti-Banding applies subtle monochromatic dithering that prevents compression banding.

What does the Micro-Sharpness feature do? ▼

Micro-Sharpness applies delicate high-frequency convolution filtering to compensate for Instagram downscaling. It enhances fine textures like eyelashes, hair, skin pores, and fabric without creating harsh halo artifacts.

How long are my uploaded files stored on the server? ▼

All uploaded files and generated ZIP archives are automatically and permanently deleted after 15 minutes. You can also purge them immediately with a single click.

Is InstaSplit really free? Are there any hidden limits, watermarks, or subscriptions? ▼

Yes, 100% free. I work as an independent high-end photo retoucher and built this tool purely for my daily workflow — to ditch manual guide-slicing in Photoshop and stop Instagram from destroying clean gradients with banding. There are no subscriptions, trials, ads, or watermarks. Slice as many panoramas as your portfolio needs. The only technical rule is a lightweight rate limit (10 slices per 5 minutes) simply to keep bots from overloading my server.
